HULL’S AD EXPOSED FOR FEATURING RADICAL ANTI-ABORTION ACTIVISTS

Gregg Hull claims to feature “everyday New Mexicans,” but relies entirely on a connected network of anti-choice activists

ALBUQUERQUE – Republican gubernatorial candidate Gregg Hull is attempting to deceive voters with his ad, “I am New Mexico.” While the ad presents itself as featuring the voices of everyday New Mexicans, every participant featured is actually an anti-choice activist connected through the same religious network, Isabella Solis Ministries.

The featured participants include Ethel Maharg, Executive Director of the Right to Life Committee of New Mexico; Grace Lardizabal, co-pastor and wife of former Republican Lt. Governor candidate Manny Lardizabal; and anti-abortion protester Randy Munoz and his wife Tamar.

“No matter how hard he tries, Gregg Hull can’t hide his radical agenda from the people of New Mexico,” said Mila Myles, spokeswoman for the Democratic Party of New Mexico. “He could’ve cast anyone in this ad. Instead, he chose a small network of extreme anti-abortion activists. New Mexicans deserve honesty, not a candidate who lies about who stands behind him.”

After already being caught telling a group of Republicans that he is “fully committed” to working with Texas Governor Greg Abbott to restrict access to abortion in New Mexico, there should be no doubt that Gregg Hull would try to undo New Mexico’s work to protect reproductive healthcare access and patients in our state.
